This morning’s almond porridge pot with raspberry, fig, nuts and seeds! Porridge can be a bit bland on its own and I love adding fruit, nuts and seed to mine. This morning I took it a little step further and made a quick simple jam; just cooked through raspberries sweetened with palm sugar.
I crammed two of these after my morning run today. Still can’t quite make my mind up about gluten but I’m avoiding it at the moment so these oats were gluten free and I used almond milk instead of cow’s milk. It’s quicker to make than it sounds. The jam cooks whilst the oats soften, the only negative is that you then end up with an extra pot to clean… But it’s worth it!
