Home made cinnamon granola

Coconut fat is a new love affair of mine. I use it on my face, for pulling (cleaning teeth, not pulling boys), frying, in coffee and for granola. Fried organic whole oats in coconut fat makes a great quick breakfast. I add cinnamon and honey once the oats have crisped up a little.

Serve with a handful of nuts, seed and chopped up fruit. I use the nuts that I happen to have; mostly almonds and hazelnuts. For the fruit I like using banana and figs and for seeds; chia, poppy and pumpkin.

Another daily love affair of mine (I have many) is matcha tea. Packed with antioxidants and green tea goodness it’s a great healthy drink to replace tea or coffee. Tea Pigs do a great one here.
