Marinated feta with lemon, chili, kalamata and herbs

There is something so satisfying with dipping a peace of bread in a good olive oil, salt and lemon. I wanted to take that a little bit further and added some feta cheese, olives, chili and chermoula to the mix. Probably the best peace of toast I’ve ever had! I made it for guests at an Isak’sTable dinner event last week, it all went pretty quickly. I did lots of little sharing dishes for a starter as part of a Middle Eastern themed dinner.

  • olive oil
  • lemon juice and rind
  • chili
  • chermoula (optional)
  • kalamata olives
  • rose petals to decorate
