Sorrel salad and sticky chicken wings

A quick and clean salad with sorrel, radish, chilli, nasturtiums, oregano and olive oil. The sorrel is tangy and acidic so need some salt and a glugg of good olive oil to balance but it’s freshness goes well with the sweet sticky chicken wings.

The chicken cooked with salt and pepper and a little oil on low heat for about an hour before being covered in honey and home made bbq sauce to cook for another 20 minutes.

I buy my sorrel from Riverford but it’s easy to grow in the garden. I will get some red vines sorrel to grow next.

Ingredients:

  • sorrel
  • radishes
  • chilli
  • olive oil
  • oregano
  • nasturtium
