So I’m learning how to bake… and what can be easier than short bread? Just 3 ingredients… Mix it all together, roll, cut and bake!
These little cookies are nice on their own, drizzled with chocolate, together with a coconut ice cream or why not with some Cointreau caramelised nectarines?
- 180g flour
- 130g butter
- 60g sugar
- walnuts (optional)
- I mix the butter and sugar together first and then roll the dough like a big sausage before I cut it into slices. Bake on 190C or gasmark 5 for 10-20 minutes depending on thickness until pale golden brown.
